This is how GradeTrack handles your family's information, written the way we'd want it explained to us. Last updated 3 July 2026.
What we collect
- Your email address and password, to run your account.
- The details you add about your children: a name, year level, and school.
- The report cards you upload: the files themselves and the text we read from them (grades, teacher comments, attendance).
How we use it
- To build your dashboards, progress charts, and at-home suggestions. That is it.
- Report content is read by an AI model (Anthropic's Claude) to turn it into your dashboard. Data sent this way is not used to train AI models.
- We never sell your data, and we never share it with advertisers.
Where it lives
- Your data is stored with Supabase, encrypted at rest, in a database where each family can only ever access its own records.
- Uploaded report files sit in private storage. Links to them expire.
- Payments are handled by Stripe. Your card details go to Stripe directly; we never see or store them.
Your control
- You can delete any report, or a child and all their reports, inside the app.
- Want your whole account and everything in it removed? Get in touch and we'll do it.
